Our Company

Founded in 1984 as the "Western Mass Business Journal," BusinessWest strives to become an overview of business in the Pioneer Valley with feature articles focusing on business news and trends within our publication area. The organization also acts as contract publishers for various organizations and is always looking for new ideas that may result in new publishing opportunities.

Reflecting the changing times and the need for a redesign, the publication was reformatted and updated in 1989.

At that time, the name, too, was changed to "BusinessWest." More recently, we relocated to facilities in Springfield.

This new location offers us a more central location to the entire Pioneer Valley.

It is our aim to be the most respected and growth-oriented publishing company in Western Massachusetts. That goal will continue to be realized as we produce products that appeal to both the needs of area readers and advertisers. We foster an environment which provides our employees with an opportunity to learn and grow for we feel that such an environment provides the best opportunity for us to realize our goals.
