DESCRIPTION:Local farmstands in Hadley\, South Hadley\, and Sunderland are celebrating June with the Dairy Month Dairy Crawl! \nVisit the participating farmstands: Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery\, Maple Valley Creamery’s Scoop at the Silos\, McCray’s Country Creamery\, Flayvors of Cook Farm\, North Hadley Sugar Shack and Market\, and Smiarowski’s Farmstand and Creamy; and purchase an ice cream to get your Dairy Crawl passport stamped between Memorial Day Weekend and the Fourth of July. \nJune is Dairy Month. Complete and submit your Dairy Crawl Passport by July 4 to be entered to win! \nWe farmers have been friends and neighbors for generations. \nWe all face similar challenges – development of farmland\, difficulty finding reliable labor\, and razor thin profit margins. We borrow equipment from one another\, trade tips and feedback\, and lend a helping hand. While not all of the participating farmstands are dairy farms\, it is a longstanding tradition to support our neighbors and sustain agriculture in the Pioneer Valley. \nWe’ve opened farmstands to diversify our businesses so that we can continue to do what we love: create local\, wholesome food for our community. EMWA is a 501(c) 3 non profit that PROVIDES TOOLS AND SUPPORT FOR CANCER SURVIVORS DURING & AFTER TREATMENTS. \nJoin us rain or shine at the Morgan Road Pavilion on Friday\, June 28th. Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled FREE event! Take a stroll with loved ones on the trail\, indulge in family fun activities\, savor delicious eats and much MORE! Take lots of photos and videos of all the smiles and sniffs along the way\, and share them with us on social media using #CaninesFurCancer. Each Moment We Are Alive (EMWAl) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that proivdes tools and support for cancer surviors during and after treatments. \nWhat is Canines Fur Cancer? Canines Fur Cancer is a family fun filled day that raises awareness and funds fo cancer support programs for EMWA. The day kicks off with a ¾ mile walk around the beautiful Irish Cultural Center. Food\, beverages\,photos\, music and rock finding games are all part of the day’s activities. \nCan I participate even if I don’t have a dog? Of course!  Canines Fur Cancer welcomes all walkers\, with or without a canine companion. \nI don’t live in Western MA. Can I still participate? Yes!! This years walk will be in person. BUT for those out of town\, you can walk where you want. \nDo I have to be a cancer survivor to participate? No\, you don’t have to be a cancer survivor to participate in the Canines Fur Cancer walk. \nDo I have to fundraise? No\, you are not obligated to fundraise for Canines Fur Cancer.  Our fundraisers are made up of canines who have been supporting our survivors.  You can opt to register yourself or a favorite pet and fundraise through your contacts using social media channels. Our top fundraisers receive a gift basket the day of the walk. \nAre donations tax deductible? Ever Moment We Are Alive is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and therefore your donations are tax deductible. \nHow can I sponsor the event?
