WHEN IT’S HARD TO FIND.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the city of Springfield to cancel trick-or-treating, we rose to the mayor’s challenge
to provide a safe alternative. With his help and the cooperation of Springfield’s emergency services, we organized a safe, drive-thru trick-or-treating experience for thousands of children in a matter of days and made sure the children of Springfield didn’t have to sacrifice yet another childhood memory.
Now going on 100 years, United Way of Pioneer Valley has been there for our community through both the good and the bad, coming up with new ways like this to deliver hope when the people who need it most are struggling to find it.
