MISSION STATEMENT
The Foundation for TJO Animals is dedicated to helping animals in the shelter at TJO receive the care and training they need to bring them to the adoption floor, and from there to their forever homes. The foundation supports and enhances the medical services and programs of the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center through fund-raising, special events, and donor appeals. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving local animals in Western Mass.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Founded in 2007, the Foundation for TJO Animals is a 501(c)3 organization that supports and enhances the medical services and programs of the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. We are a volunteer board of directors dedicated to helping animals in shelter receive the care needed to help them on to their forever homes through fund-raising, special events, and donor appeals.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
There are many ways to support the Foundation for TJO Animals: • Make a tax-deductible gift to the Foundation for TJO Animals by

• Support a Foundation for TJO Animals fund-raising event. Bring your friends, co-workers, and family. Purchase a block of tickets.

• Host a party with a purpose (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc.)
and ask your guests to bring cash or in-kind donations for the
Foundation for TJO Animals;
• Hold a TJO collection at your workplace, faith community, health
club, or anywhere else you and your friends gather;
• Donate a portion of ticket sales from a dance/music recital,
theater production, arts and crafts show, or school reunion;
• Sign up for our quarterly Foundation for TJO Animals newsletter

• Encourage your employer to hold a “Dress for Animals” day
or holiday giving campaign to benefit the Foundation for TJO
Animals;
• Find out about planned-giving options;
