The Power of Giving Back
There Are Benefits for Individuals, Businesses, and the Community

They call it ‘No Shave November.’
And that name pretty much tells you all you need to
know.
It’s a broad effort to raise awareness about cancer and support initiatives in cancer prevention, research, and education that includes many regional and local endeavors, including a partnership between the Hampshire County Sheriff’s
Office and TommyCar Auto Group.
Throughout November, the deputies and staff of the Sheriff’s Office can opt out of their usual dress code and grow out their facial hair in exchange for a $20 donation — with proceeds going to the Tom Cosenzi Driving for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament, which directly supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
At TommyCar Auto Group, which matches the total amount
raised by the Sheriff’s Office, No Shave November is a group
exercise, if you will, with roughly 80% participation company-wide,
said Carla Cozenzi, the company’s president, adding that it has
become a fall tradition and a solid example of how giving back is a
team-building exercise for those in the family of dealerships, who
