MISSION STATEMENT
The Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts supports communities in their efforts to become measurably healthier and more equitable through community engagement, convening collaborative partnerships, communications, data analysis, research and evaluation, and policy advocacy.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We are working to build a healthier region by focusing on solutions and opportunities to address the root causes of poor health. Factors like the air we breathe, the water we drink, our education, access to food, transportation, employment, access to care, and the design of communities we live in all play a role in our health. Coalitions and networks we convene with include Live Well Springfield, Healthy Air Network, Springfield Youth Mental Health Coalition, Pioneer Valley Asthma Coalition, 413Cares, and Clean Slate MA.
