The Tom Cosenzi Driving for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament is extremely proud to be able to support the work of the world- class researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to reduce and ultimately eliminate the burden of cancer.

The 17th annual Tom Cosenzi Driving for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament is slated for Sept. 8, 2025 at Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Tom Cosenzi Driving for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament was founded by Carla and Tommy Cosenzi in honor of their father, Tom Cosenzi, who passed away from a glioblastoma brain tumor in 2009. Tom was deeply committed to finding a cure for brain cancer, and his vision continues to inspire this annual event. As co-presidents of TommyCar Auto Group, Carla and Tommy have grown the tournament into one of the leading philanthropic events within the Western Mass. auto-dealership community.
Over the past 16 years, the tournament has raised more than $1.7 million to support the work of Dr. Patrick Wen and his team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are essential in advancing neuro-oncology, helping researchers develop and test new clinical trials for targeted therapies, many of which have not been explored for brain tumors before.
The tournament also funds innovative immunotherapy trials and supports cutting-edge basic research that informs new treatments and therapeutic approaches.
