Junior Achievement Recognizes Young Leaders from Across the Region
Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts (JAWM) honored its inau- gural 18 Under 18 Class of 2022, sponsored by Teddy Bear Pools, on May 19 at at Tower Square in Springfield. The event — which included poster board displays by the stu- dents, remarks, appreciation presentations and a buffet — recognized outstanding young people throughout Western Mass. who exem- plify innovative spirit, leadership, and com- munity involvement.
“We were impressed with the caliber of
the nominations we received for this recogni- tion,” said William Dziura, Development Direc- tor, JAWM. “It’s gratifying to know there are so many young people committed to making an impact on the world, and we are thrilled to be able to offer a forum through which they can be applauded for their efforts.”
The following 18 students comprise the 18 Under 18 Class of 2022:
