Ready to Protect and Serve
American International College (AIC) recently hosted the graduation ceremony of the 65th recruit officer candidate class of the Western Massachusetts Police Academy. The newly minted officers marched to the music of a bagpipe into the Griswold Theater, where they were welcomed by family, friends, fellow members of law enforcement, and AIC President Hubert Benitez. Among the graduates was Curtis McGuire, AIC’s first graduate of the academy. He trained under the Campus Police for a year and a half before attending the academy and now returns to AIC, where he will serve as a Campus Police officer.
