nursing homes throughout the country, faces rising costs, declines in funding, and acute staffing shortages – huge challenges made worse by COVID and the inadequacy of government reimbursements. Regardless of our challenges we seize every opportunity to expand and elevate our services.
This past June, we welcomed Northeast Rehab Associates, Inc. to our campus, allowing us to expand our services to include specialized orthopedic, cardiac, pulmonary and respiratory sub-acute rehab care at Sosin Center for Rehabilitation. And as of October 26th, the Leavitt Family Jewish Home has regained its prestigious 5-star quality rating from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the highest number of stars allotted to a skilled nursing facility!
This designation speaks volumes about our incredible employees and is a testament to our skilled and compassionate staff, our strong commitment to excellence and our dedication as an organization to provide the highest caliber of care possible. Please support the care of our community’s elders with your gift today.”
