Celebrating the Class of 2020
It was a different kind of ceremony, to be sure, but BusinessWest’s 40 Under Forty class of 2020 celebrated in style recently at the Log Cabin Banquet and Meeting House’s Upper Vista. Due to restrictions on events imposed by the state, the celebration became a two-day affair, on Oct. 13 and 14, with two cohorts of honorees honored each day at a hybrid event with several attend- ees on hand and many more watching remotely. It wasn’t what this event has been historically, with 650 people at the Log Cabin, but there was still plenty of enthusiasm, and even plenty of noise generated by those in attendance. The event was made possible by its sponsors, especially presenting sponsors Health New England and PeoplesBank. Other sponsors included Comcast Business,
the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, and Mercedes-Benz of Springfield. Event partners were the Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield and media partner WWLP 22 News/CW Springfield.
