MISSION STATEMENT
Established in 1978, Springfield Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. (Springfield NHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that transforms families and revitalizes communities through homeownership development, recycling of blighted properties, and resident empowerment.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Registration for an upcoming event can be done at our Springfield office, 111 Wilbraham Road Springfield, MA 01109 or online at www.springfieldnhs.org/events.
Homeownership promotion includes lending, education, and counseling. In addition Springfield NHS has operated a ‘Homeownership Preservation’ program for over 30 years. With the advent of the ‘foreclosure crisis,’ the agency launched Foreclosure Intervention services as the foremost means of post-purchase counseling and assistance.
Springfield NHS provides financial management and literacy education, credit counseling, first-time homebuyer education, and mortgage foreclosure intervention services to residents in the Springfield community and throughout Western Massachusetts.
