Bare Mountain Hike

Join us for a Thursday evening hike up Bare Mountain. The short but steep .62 mile hike will take us to the 1,014 ft. summit with unobstructed views of the Pioneer Valley. Bare Mountain is not your ordinary mountain; it is home to a former Strategic Air Command bunker (featured in the movie Edge of Darkness) that is now owned by Amherst College. You will need a pair of sturdy shoes, water and a flashlight to enjoy this hike. RSVP on Facebook so we know that you’re coming.
