Research Intern. Primary responsibility will be to contact companies by phone and email for updates to our annual book of lists and to gather sales leads from those efforts for the sales dept.

Editorial Intern. Primary responsibility will be to assist our editor Joe Bednar with projects and may include gathering press release info, assisting with photo identification for Picture This and for events, attending community events to produce press releases, provide story ideas to editor, copy proofing and editing stories for biweekly magazine, and journalism opportunity for the right candidate.

Videographer Intern. Primary responsibility will be to assist editorial team to produce videos of regional business professionals as they are being interviewed to be used on businesswest.com and in e-news to promote the editorial content.

Marketing/Events Intern. Primary responsibility will be to assist our marketing/events manager Melissa Hallock with various tasks and projects including marketing plan for BusinessWest, readership study of our audience, and all events-related marketing and execution.

Sales Assistant Interns. Sales assistants will help generate sales leads for our sales team. Primary responsibilities will include prospecting via phone calls, use of email to prospect and generate leads for sales team, and prospecting from regional sources online.

Administrative Assistant Intern. Primary responsibility will be to work with our Bookkeeper including with organizing; filing; mailing invoices; updating and mailing subscriptions for our biannual subscription drive; and all general office tasks.
