Reading by Writer Sarah Blake

The Blue House Visiting Writers Series at College of Our Lady of the Elms will host a reading by writer Sarah Blake at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, in the Borgia Gallery. An author reception will be held in conjunction with this reading, which is free and open to the public.
Blake is the founder of the online writing tool Submittrs and a recipient of an literature fellowship from the NEA. Her debut novel, Naamah, is forthcoming from Riverhead Books, and is a provocative imagining of the story of the wife of Noah.
Blake’s poetry books, Let’s Not Live on Earth, and Mr. West, were both published by Wesleyan University Press. Her chapbook, Named After Death, is out from Banango Editions. Her poetry has appeared in Boston Review, Drunken Boat, FIELD, and The Threepenny Review. She lives outside Philadelphia.
