Amherst Area Chamber to Host Free Small Business Resource Fair on March 11

AMHERST — The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce announced the upcoming Small Business Resource Fair on Tuesday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Inn on Boltwood, 30 Boltwood Ave., Amherst, hosted in partnership with state Rep. Mindy Domb and the Massachusetts Office of Business Development.

The resource fair is free and open to all to attend. It is sponsored by Greenfield Savings Bank, Encharter Insurance, and Magnetworks, whose support makes this event possible.

“The Small Business Resource Fair is an exciting new signature event for the chamber,” said Jacob Robinson, the chamber’s executive director. “It is designed to provide local entrepreneurs and small-business owners with invaluable resources, connections, and opportunities for growth.”

Attendees will be able to connect with more than 15 organizations dedicated to supporting businesses at all stages, including the Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD), MassDevelopment, Valley CDC, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, Common Capital, the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, Living Local 413, FORGE, MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center, MassHire Rapid Response, SCORE, the Supplier Diversity Office, EforAll, the Massachusetts Health Connector for Business, the UMass Office of Career Development, MassTech Collaborative, and the Veterans Business Outreach Center.

“I am proud to partner with the Chamber and MOBD to host this great event to support the small businesses in our region and bring state resources to their attention,” Domb said.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with state resources and local organizations that are dedicated to supporting small businesses with finances, technical assistance, mentorship, and more. Startups, growing companies, and established small businesses looking for new opportunities will be able to benefit from this event and take their business to the next level.
