Entertainment Cinemas at Springfield Plaza to Close Sunday

SPRINGFIELD — The owners of the Entertainment Cinemas at the Springfield Plaza announced they would be closing the business on Sunday after years of declining revenues and soaring operating costs. A spokesperson for Entertainment Management Corp. told the Republican that the 16-screen facility, built in 1999, will show its last films on Sunday evening.
