Make-A-Wish Grants 7-year-old’s Wish with Support of Country Bank

WARE — Country Bank’s employee charitable giving program recently supported Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island by helping to grant the wish of 7-year-old Esmeralda. She is anxiously awaiting her wish to meet the princesses at a Florida theme park, and will do so this summer thanks to Country Bank.

“The staff at Country Bank really stepped it up when asked to support such a meaningful cause,” said Bonnie Trudeau-Wood, employee charitable giving chairperson. “The staff raised money through Friday jeans days, a waffle breakfast, and internal raffles. Everyone is very excited to make this happen for Esmeralda and her family.”

Added Jodie Gerulaitis, vice president of Community Relations, “Country Bank is honored to support programs that provide hope, inspiration, and happiness. We will continue to support our friends and neighbors in meaningful ways. We think giving back is one of the most cutting-edge things a bank will ever do.”
