T-Birds Fall in Calder Cup Finals; Trail in Series 2 Games to 1

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Thunderbirds fell to the Chicago Wolves 4-0 at home on Wednesday night, and now trail in the Calder Cup Finals 2-1.

The series returns to the MassMutual Center for game 4 on Friday night. A sell-out crowd is expected.

The Thunderbirds are in pursuit of their first Calder Cup trophy.
