State Sen. Eric Lesser (D-Longmeadow) recently hosted a visit to Western Mass. by the Commonwealth’s Joint Legislative Manufacturing Caucus, which Lesser co-chairs. The group toured Menck Windows in Chicopee, Excel Dryer in East Longmeadow, and Hasbro/Cartamundi in East Longmeadow. Designs on Reading
The West Springfield Public Library announced a $10,000 capital-campaign contribution from Caolo & Bieniek Associates, the lead architectural firm for the library’s renovation and expansion project. The firm’s donation will be permanently recognized in a section of the new library’s greatly expanded children’s area. The campaign has now received more than $1.4 million in contributions and pledges, about 70% of its $2 million goal.
