Hampden Parks & Rec Teams Up with East Village Tavern for Free Music Fest
HAMPDEN — The Hampden Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with East Village Tavern to put on the second annual Rock into Summer event, held at Hampden’s new Town Hall, 85 Wilbraham Road, on Saturday, July 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. Parking lots open at 5 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature live music from Acousticca, as well as local food trucks. Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs.
“Outdoor concerts bring people together and provide families with an opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment close to home,” Hampden Parks & Recreation Director Dan Blanchard said. “They help strengthen community connections by creating welcoming spaces where residents of all ages can gather, relax, and have fun.”
