International Language Institute Launches Expanded Summer Language Programs

NORTHAMPTON — The International Language Institute (ILI) in Northampton will begin its summer language programs the week of July 13, offering new opportunities for adults to build language skills for work, travel, and personal enrichment. Registration is now open at ili.edu.

The summer schedule includes world language classes in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese, along with culture-focused electives featuring literature, film, conversation, and regional studies. ILI is also offering evening English classes designed to help intermediate and advanced English learners build confidence in everyday conversations and workplace communication, as well as a 15-hour daytime English program for adults seeking to improve their English for work and daily life.

“Language learning is about much more than grammar and vocabulary,” said Caroline Gear, executive director of ILI. “Whether someone is learning English or another language, our goal is to help people build confidence, connect across cultures, and communicate more effectively.”
